La Galerie Basia Embiricos existe depuis 2004.
En plus d’un fond photographique vintage, la galerie s’investit dans des projets et évènements qui défendent la création contemporaine en photographie et en vidéo avec une attention toute particulière prêtée aux nouvelles technologies.
Nous possédons également nos propres éditions.
La galerie réalise environ huit expositions par an et organise des évènements « hors les murs » avec les institutions telles que le Musée Picasso à Paris : exposition « Picasso X-Ray » en 2006, au Centre Pompidou : « Nativité Laïque » par Souhed Nemlaghi en 2005, ainsi qu' à La Fondation Cartier : exposition « Pain Couture » J.P.Gaultier sur l’idée originale de Souhed Nemlaghi 2004, ou encore, les expositions de Guy Peellaert : « Rêves du XX siècle » au Musée de Belfort en 2004 et à la Fondation Atlas Lodz Pologne en 2007.

The Basia Embiricos Gallery, exists since 2004.
In addition to a vintage photographic collection, the gallery invests itself in events and projects which defend the contemporary creation using photographic and video medium, with a particular focus on new technologies.
Moreover, we are self-editors.
The Gallery realizes about eight exhibitions a year and organizes some outside events with prestigious institutions like the Picasso Museum in Paris with « Picasso X-Ray » in 2006, the Pompidou Center with « Nativité Laïque » by Soulhed Nemlaghi in 2005, the Cartier Fondation, with the exhibition « Pain Couture » by J.P Gautier adapted from the original idea by Souhed Nemlaghi in 2004, or The Belfort Museum in 2004 and the Atlas Lodz Fondation in Poland with the Guy Peellaert exhibition « Rêve du XXème siècle » in 2007.
